This Privacy Policy explains how Monnvia ("Monnvia", "we") collects, uses and shares information when you use monnvia.shop. We collect only what we need to run the AI Mermaid Video Generator, and we never sell your personal information.

2. How we use information
- To generate your videos and deliver them to you;
- To create and manage your account, credits and subscriptions;
- To process payments, prevent fraud and meet tax and accounting obligations;
- To screen prompts and uploads for safety and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy;
- To provide support and send service emails such as receipts and renewal reminders;
- To keep the Service secure, fix problems and improve performance.
We do not use your uploaded photos or generated videos to train AI models, and we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)
We process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Service), to comply with legal obligations (tax records), and with your consent where required (for example, optional cookies).
4. How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service, under contracts that protect it:
- Cloud hosting and content delivery (for example, Vercel);
- AI video processing providers, which receive your prompt and photo only to generate your video;
- Stripe and, where offered at checkout, PayPal, for payment processing and fraud prevention;
- Email delivery providers, for receipts and service messages.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.
5. Retention
- Uploaded photos: deleted from our processing provider automatically within 72 hours.
- Generated video files: download links expire after 24 hours; account history may keep a reference for up to 30 days.
- Prompts and request logs: kept up to 90 days for safety and abuse prevention.
- Account data: kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days after you close it.
- Payment and invoice records: kept as long as tax law requires (typically up to 7 years).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email legal@monnvia.shop. We respond within 30 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and accounts require users aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and uploading photos of minors is prohibited. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
